I have a 7 hp compressor that only runs minimally while using the unit. It is comfortable to use, and has worked flawlessly. I'd recommend this unit for anyone who has similar work to do. Bought this sander about 6 months ago to work on a car restoration project. I've used the unit for about 15-20 hours now to smooth light applications of body filler, and have been very happy with it.
